Here at XycoZone

XycoZone is for the Gamers, Geeks, and Techie's. We're geared towards bringing news and updates about games both old and new, opening up new channels of discussing for game designer's of all skill levels, with no judging, and staying as close as possible the the gaming edge as possible.

XycoZone was first created in 2006, and has had it's ups and downs, from everything to hosts related issues, the change in HTML over time, having to moderate/administer from several different PC's owned throughout the years, software changes/etc., and personal (since it's mainly ran by me Xycofox).

 

The idea for the site started off from a game I was working on using the RPG Maker engine (RPGmaker95) called Dark Dreams, and was wanting to make a website for it.  It just took off from there as my interest and skills broaden into the XycoZone we have today. The name and the logo and slogan I created myself, most of the other artwork/images around the site were gathered along the way and have been edited by me.  I do give credit to the orignal author's, except in cases as with the Xycozone banner that is a compilation of different game graphics and such, were it's been edited by me to fit my needs.  I'm an artist myself, so you can bet I'll never steal anyone elses art and say it's mine.
