Alien Isolation

So here it is folks, you probably ran across this from the front page, but if not, it's still gonna be good. As stated earlier, we at XycoZone obtained a copy of Alien Isolation this weekend from the PlayStation Store, which was on sale quite low ($9.98), and which came with ALL the DLC.. so here goes....

Being an Aliens fan, the start of the game was incredible, it really brings you back into the alien vibe the movies create. Having been a little apprehensive about this game, because of how the reviews came out, like "Incredibly Hard game", or "Not enough Action" , I was unsure what to expect, but as soon as I heard Ripley's voice, I was won. This game DOES have action, it DOES keep you locked in, DOES have scare factor that'll make you jump, it has 4 difficulty settings, and even on medium the game was playable, NOWHERE near too difficult.

There were however times I felt like setting the controller down, but that's because I got hung on one of those loops where you just can't get past that one part, and no matter how hard you try, you keep messing up and restarting at the save point, but like I said, this game will keep you locked in, and I ALWAYS got passed the hard parts. Other key points of this game, without ruininitg for you all, is how the storyline fits in to the original Alien story, and with all the DLC, getting the chance to be a part of that..
